Thornton Electric FI

Hi ive been looking for a budget way of boosting my engines performance and came accross this Thornton Electric FI and was wondering if you guys have any experience or wether basically you know if its a load of bullshit, They claim a max of 8Psi boost and a 30% BHP and ft/torques increase guaranteed. It seems genuine but.. hmmph

Heres the link

Hmmmm I like how he turns it on while the car is off and it shows 6psi. I bet if the car was running that couldn't maintane that pressure. Looks like crap to me

it may be able to attain 6psi but what is important is maintaining that pressure as the volume of air flow increases, which none of those electric superchargers can do. it's a waste of money. to have an electric fan move the volume of air at the pressure needed would take a very high amperage requiring a higher capacity alternator or dc generator. you can't get something from nothing

When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?
