JRSC Flex Tube

Yet another JRSC question.
Did you folks that have a JRSC have trouble installing the throttle body to MAF flex tube?
I picked up the tube from another member here and I had to heat it and stretch the bajeepers out of it to finally make it fit. I was like fitting 10 pounds of $hit in a 5 pound bag.
It took me an hour to finally stretch it on. I now have to turn my attention to the MAF side.

I had to get the 65mm throttle body from CFM.

It won't fit my stock TB or the MAF.
It's way stretched out on the stock TB.
I do have a 65mm TB on my NA car now, so what you're saying is the aftermarket TB opening doesn't have the rib to try to stretch over?

I am not sure. Just to clarify, I had to use a modified mustang intake tube as my kit did not come with one (bought used).

Same situation here too.
Could you elaborate on the mustang tube?
What year and engine?
Could you show me a picture?

Thanks for the help!

Talk to b16sir1991 (Mike at Hilbish). He worked out the tube for me.

I did a month or so ago and he pointed me to a race car fab on line catalog that had 25' lengths of fresh air tubes for $70 or so. Just a bit too much for my needs.

i have a 67mm and my flex tube fit on it had to use a flathead screw driver to help it on by sliding it around under the flex tube and letting it slide over the tb. i noticed one end was bigger than the other on mine which made it fit easier.
