Well i think i finally made the head give up.. just got done racing it and its tapping bad now. the j&s isn't really doing anything. and i believe i traced it down to the head (cylinder 4 passenger side) The sound is not in the block using the screwdriver as a stethescope its in the head. sounds like a valve. it starts every time and nothing on the dash lights up. but its knocking. my question is what kind of gains do you think i could see with a ford racing head and some cams? any? would it be better (cheaper) to rebuild mine and up grade the parts? and would i have to re-tune? and i figured while i am in there and have the car down ill change the waste gate spring and clutch. what kind of clutch do you recommend. and how many washers should i put for the spring.(not really sure if i want to change the spring but might) right now i am running 15lb spring and my high boost is about 24psi i dont really want more boost on my low boost but i wouldnt mind more for the high boost but my wg is releasing too hard. oh right now i have a fully built 8:1 cgi motor with manely rods and diamond pistons and stock head and stock intake. oh and a stage 3 clutch.

Too Fast For Me... TONS OF WHP... GOBBS OF WTQ......
Go ahead put your car where your mouth is....

my car made more power on 8psi with the the focus power head than it did with the stock head on 12psi.. but i also have a larger turbo and a lower compression motor, but it is new, and mcnew turbo cams.. all could be factors. i never did a head to head test though. i say go for it.. it wont hurt, lol.

is the stage 3 clutch not enough? or is it just wore out?
