You can run the Power Works on the normal zetec, unless I missed something.

Yes you can put the svt head on, but it's technically not a straight bolt on affair. You have to block and delete the VCT. I'm not quite sure what that consists of though. But I'd guess a plug and taking the actuator out.

btw, there is a Forced Induction section and some good stickies to read through in there relating to the subject.

Your better off getting a FR cnc'd head
If you did go with the SVT head it's going to cost you more as the PWSC for the SVT cost more $$$$ then what the Zetec PWSC cost.

3199.95 with free shipping, it's about bloody time the price as come down on these things.

Looks like the Zetec PWSC isn't for sale anymore?

Yea it's a direct bolt-on, but to make the svt head work on a standard zetec you'll need a vct delete. I think you can get that from Tom. But it would probably be easier to just get the FRPP Head.

I think you guys are missing the point. Powerworks are not making anymore Zetec superchargers, and only have SVT ones left.

Thus why LowTEC is asking whether the SVT head would bolt on, so he can fit the SVT PWSC to his car, given he can't get a Zetec one anymore

The manifold plate will fit either head. It's the same stud pattern. Just as the JRSC for the SVT will bolt on the normal zetec.
I think the difference is the tune needed. Being the SVT comes with larger MAFS and injectors stock it has the fuel supply to keep up with demand. The normal zetec would need upgraded injectors to keep up. And the MAFS because it is matched to the injectors and has a higher roof for air capacity.
Externally they are almost the same engine and many parts are interchangeable. Just because it recommends one does not mean it won't fit the other, though improvements will have to be made.

Again, as far as I know.

Thanks, thats exactly the question I was trying to get answered. If it's only a matter of injectors and an MAF sensor...well then I'll gladly upgrade that so I can use the PWSC.

Yes it will bolt on... but there are differences that may need to be taken care of with some of the electronics, sensors and wiring.
