'08 2.0 turbo kit question

Since this car is quite new, I'm aware there aren't many options. So far I've come across a turbo kit by Focus Sport & one by F2 (although I'm not sure if they're finished with they're kit yet). Now I have a few questions here. Are there any other companies out there who produce kits for the 2008 2.0? Would a custom turbo kit be better? I have an automatic so I'm looking for a setup that would put me between 200-250 hp. This would be my daily driver as well. I've also been told there shouldn't be a dramatic change in MPG if it's tuned properly. Is this true? I'd like to have some opinions here on which route to go in order to have a ballsy automatic. Thanks!

well the kit from fs is good from what i hear all the cars that did it are still going. if you got a auto like me the tranny can only handle 12 psi prob. the fs kit is your best route. you looking at 225 with stage 2 is from what the dynos say. but if you go with turbo you gotta get 2.5inch exhaust maybe 3. hope this helps.

The ENGINE may handle 12 psi, but thats pushing the limits, not the tranny. The 225hp number above is NOT what you will achieve. Those numbers are using a manual tranny and manuals always dyno higher. I'd say you'd probably get around 190-200whp with the automatic and 11psi.

I don't have a duratec, but I have a turbo and my gas mileage only went down 2-3mpg and I don't have a perfect tune. Just to give you an idea. How often you go into boost determines how you'll do as far as gas mileage goes.
