The 2.5" exhaust will work fine. It's the 2.25 flex that bothers me. Call tru-Bendz and get a 2.5 flex. Obviously, 3" is better, but not everybody wants to change out their whole exhaust. Esp. when he has a quality system like cosworth.

EDIT: Wow, just realized he wants 600+ hp. In that case 3" is a minimum.

you are gunna need a super high flow fuel pump, along with other fuel system upgrades, i think you may have listed the FR head but if not then you will need some sort of better flowing head, a huuuuge mother- intercooler, and i dunno something to keep temperatures down cause with the power you want that mother is going to be HOT. plus you will need a tune for race gas because there is no way you will make that on pump. I really think the easiest way to do this is to just swap in a V8 and start from there....

There's heaps of room for huge intercooler.
Over here I use 98 octane and thats street fuel. Race fuel is 110, 115 octane and 130 methanol.
I am going to do a V8 swap for off road use only.
Our law in Australia are different in the US, The Focus is a 2.0L so you can't change it to a 5.0L V8.

I would think for that HP you'll need to strap the block. I don't think it'll hold together at the PSI required for that HP level, some sort of race block would be better I think. Injector size i'd think 1000 + cc, 3" exhaust, stronger crank perhaps? not sure of the limit on the stock one. It's pretty high, but 600 is a lot of power. .... the list is endless really. I'd guess you need about every upgrade possible. I'd recommend the big fat wallet mod 1st though.
