SVT Powerworks goes 15psi

Well my motor is good and broke in with about 10,000 miles on the engine.
I was making 11psi with 2.6 pulley on my powerworks and stock tune.
The belt started slipping so it was time for more boost.The motor was built
by Massive 9:1 J&E pistons and eagle rods,The SVT head was ported along with the PW Blower.So now its time to get tuned and I hope it will hit 275whp

purdy nice work

Hey man can people buy JUST that coolant reservoir for the air-water kit? Or would one have to buy the whole kit? and how much is it?

This is what I want to do to my SVT. I want to built the motor, powerworks with a pulley kit and a CFM overdrive crank pulley. All Custom tuned for best power, I'm hoping to hit around the 300 mark with it. Of course when I can afford it too.

They ported your head? I spoke to them recently and they told me that they have never done a port job on an svt head!

Good Luck you're going to need it.....

I have a friend with an PWSC SVT (overdriven), CNC Head package from England (including turbo cams), fully built motor..... and he couldnt break the 285-290whp mark

needless to say he's putting together a turbo kit as we speak.......

I don't think Id ever get a turbo due to maintenance.
Eh, but dont quote me on that. Just my opinion for now.
And I also like how clean the sc looks.

I have this car and a turbo focus and I'd go turbo over supercharger any day

300whp on a PW kit maybe but you'll be pushing its limit
it would take the right engine built a certain way, thats why I'll be happy with 275whp which is fun to drive.If you want any more than save yourself time and money and go turbo.And if you want a Powerworks kit there only SVT kits left to buy but I don't think there is many left.

You are able to have the best of both worlds! I agree turbo is more fun but the shine of the SC is pretty cool too!

Which one are you bring up to Ohio in May?
