3" Trubendz Zetec flex on an SVT

As part of getting the SVT ready for a turbo, I'm changing over to a 3" exhaust. b16sir1991 is selling me his 3" Trubendz (Flex back), so now I'm looking into what I can do with the flex and cat sections.

I was thinking about getting the 3" Zetec flex section from Trubendz and temporarily using the 2.5 ORP that McNews sells to mate a Zetec flex to an SVT header. When the turbo gets installed, the down pipe will replace the SVT header and the ORP. Not the entire header, but you get the point.

If anyone sees a problem going this route, your opinion would be appreciated.

Ed

i would suggest just going with a custom deal/ Have and exhaust shop make you a 3 inch pipe to go from your header to your exhaust. That way when you go turbo you can just get a standard downpipe and bolt it to the system, instead of having to finagle with it again. pretty much have the shop do a flex iorp combo for you. Itll also save you some cash in the long run.

I made myself one, but cayres is right you should have a shop do it if you can't

In my experience, commercial shops won't touch emissions equipment (like removing the CAT to build an ORP). You're best bet is probably a small mom-and-pop shop or a tuner shop that does fabrication.
