MAF problem or MAF.ia problem?

I just finished putting together a custom turbo kit and used a 3" maf pipe and a maf.ia in the system. The car did not start, well it started but died immediatly after, with the maf and mafia plugged in. After going through the car I unplugged the mafia from the maf pipe and she ran and more importantly, stayed running.

The maf.ia is on the stock setting right now. After running and I shut it off, it will not start back up again (most of the time). I'm thinking this is due to flooding the engine. The A/F is sparatic, even with the AEM wideband dropping as low as 10.5 and pegging out past 18. Mind you this is only at idle and creeping at 2 mph. When running (after it is started with the maf unplugged) and I plug the maf/mafia back in, it stays running most of the time and has died once on me when I did this. I would plug the maf pigtail directly into the maf sensor but it is not long enough to reach. Any thoughts as to what my problem here is?

You need a tune for the bigger MAF tube.

Tom, like I mentioned earlier I'm having a hard time with Livelink on my computer, so I just emailed my tuner so I can get a copy of the tune. Whats your email address so I can get it out to you once I get it? Thanks, I really appreciate it.

hey guys, my tuner found the problem when I towed it up there yesterday. It seems my friend who helped me out didn't pay attention when we put in the maf sensor and we put it in backwards. lol. we had a good chuckle. It was my fault as much because I didnt double check it, oh well, lesson learned.
