Exclamation Day 1 w/ PWSC and no oil pressure...Help!!

Ok, so I installed my PWSC...double checked everything...fired her up and she ran great!!! I took it for a test drive and she ran smoooth through all gears and RPM ranges. Pulled it back in the garage to check for any leaks....no leeks!!!.....started it back up and went to pull out of the driveway and NO OIL PRESSURE and the OIL LIGHT was on. Oulled it back into the garage and there she sits.......

What do you guys think?????

1.Oil pressure sending unit
2.Oil pump
3.________????????

FYI: I checked the oil pressure sending unit and it was pluged in and seemed to be ok physicaly......

Help

Do you have the oil filter relocation lines mixed up by chance. Most oil filters have a one way valve in them and if the lines are mixed up it will try to pump through the filter backwards. Oil goes in the outer ring on the filter and out (back in to the engine) through the middle.

Probably have the remote oil lines wrong---follow the arrows on the oil filter adapter and the oil filter pad----there is a comment about this in the instructions by Powerworks. Good Luck

I don't have the lines mixed up. Like I said the pressure was great for the start up and the first test drive. Then it just dumped out completly....

When I installed mine I was so worried I would mix the lines up I checked and rechecked and checked again. I would think that would have killed you on the first run though, so I would think the the pump or sending unit also. Let us know what you find out. Good luck. Just think you made it through the hard part, install lol.

Everyone seems to think it's the oil lines reversed. So do I.
Remember the arrows indicate oil flow so make sure you run the line from -----> to the -----> and not -----> <------ like so.
And to manually check the PSI you neet to put a plug with a oil pressure tap into one of the holes on the remote mount mount and attatch an oil pressure guage.
