New numbers

Well went to Toms and got Tuned again. Made some pretty good numbers. We got to 23psi on my returnless fuel system which is right at it's max. Could have gotten a little more out of it for bragging rights but i decided I'd rather be safe then sorry. Eventually I will switch to a return style fuel system and do a few other things that will help out flow and possibly switch to a bit better turbo as well. Also found my boost controller is a peice of crap so i believe i'm either going to switch to a greddy type S or just a plain manual oost controller. either way my type B spec II is a peice of inconsistant crap that needs to go.

15psi WG spring- no boost controller on
284.4whp and 263tq

23psi
358.4Whp and 335.4tq

well you can tell the difference in our turbo's/setups there. i made more power on low boost and you beat me on high boost. get that sheet downloaded soon lol, i would like to see your curve...

what was Tom's opinion on the 3071r? you say you are going to go bigger as well..

Well we didn't tune for low boost yom could have gotten allot more out of the low boost setting but I would have to run two tunes and I don't feel like dealing with that. I'm just runing high boost all the time. I'm not going to go to a bigger turbo I'm just going to get one that flows better and has a bigger ar so it won't lay over up top. Also we could have gotten a lot more power had my boost controlle not been acting. The gain setting on my boost controller wasn't allowing it to hold the boost correctly.

I love this forum allot more than FJ. At least over on this forum I don't have people telling me what I've done wrong and trying to diagnose how i could have made more power with less when they don't know the whole story and probably don't even have a FI setup to begin with, Let alone have even half a clue as to how much it actually takes to get to these kind of numbers.

Slight rant

Everyone on here Thanks for the props.

Nice numbers!

I really need to get my Roush kit to go higher than 6 PSI.... and finally put a non-stock exhaust on... :)
