max hp on stock internals

what is the max hp anyone has made on stock internals, assuming everything else can hold, i.e. clutch, I know people say 220 maybe more or less, but im looking for real numbers, or if you don't know, how much psi are you running and how long have you been running it for?? obviously if you've only run 15 psi for 2 days, ur engine will prolly blow soon, so I am just looking to get a feel what kind of psi i can run out of a supercharger when i get one, and yes, my preference is supercharger, i like the sound better, but that's another topic, lemme know what you've got!!!

thanks

no you'll be fine! tom just said boosted applications are fine with 200whp+.
on a side note, did you notice any difference with your shaved head? I really want that to be my next mod. Let me know!

I am doing all the mods at once, so I can't really tell you, but obviously more compression=more hp/torque, so it's a cheap mod and well worth it. if you can take off the head, then you can get it decked for like 50 bucks!!! just make sure you have a new HG and arp bolts.

i ran 220whp on 12psi for a year.. absolutely no problems with it. only reason my motor is built now is for more power. but it is hard to judge by psi, you have to use power as the limit. you can tell by my sig, last year i made 220 on 12 this year i made 290 on 14, i wish 2 lb made that much of a difference. some say 200-250. i think that is the limit. i ran 220 with Toms tuning and i wouldnt have gone any higher.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the stock non-SVT fuel system fall flat just before you're about to make more power than the stock internals can take? I seem to recall reading that the non-SVT pump dives at 240 and the stock non-SVT internals break at 250...

I have made 320HP on the all stock engine with 110 octane fuel and have many customers making 250 on the stock Zetec

I dont know that I would raise the compression with boost , you cant make enough HP with a SC to hurt the stock engine , keep in mind what the TQ is, thats the working part of the engine

Is the 240 hp limit on the non-SVT fuel system with or without a boost-a-pump?
