Where to Buy Intake tube for JRSC?

I need the flex tube that goes between the air box and throttle body for my JRSC.
Does anyone have a source, other than Supercharger.com for some tubing?

Have you tried your local autoparts store? That part is nothing special or specific to the kit.

I live in a really small town with a really tiny parts place. They couldn't even find the copper plugs I wanted.

What would an application be for the tubing? I could dig around a little if I had an idea what the tubing was used for.

Thanks for the ideas, keep 'em coming.

not too familiar with the JR setup, but couldn't you use an SVT Intake Pipe?

No because it bends to far down at the TB and does not flex like the one that comes with the kit. I too had a find another intake pipe but it wasn't hard. I think you would be able to find something in the ricer section at pep boys or something.

I was lucky enough to have something laying around that I could use.

I have a Roush hood scoop that I'm going to make functional. I had considered starting with an aftermarket intake tube, building a new air box and feeding cold, outside air to the box (which is sealed from the engine heat)

Jeff here. Your friends are right - there is nothing specific about that tube but you will be hard pressed to find an alternative. I have been down this road too. My best find was a cheap RV sewer hose from my local RV Shop. It was about 3/8 to large in diameter but the silicone sewer hose was soft enough for my clamp to seal it up okay. I have since bought a new one from JR. I have a very good connect ar supercharger.com and if you are super interested I can get you the vendor of that spring wrapped supercharger inlet hose.

BTW, what is wrong with yours?
peas,
-Jeff

Jeff,
Cool. I tried to order the hose from JR (supercharger.com) and it showed up unavailable, not backordered, unavailable.

If you could point me to some people that I could buy a hose from that would be great!

I bought my JRSC pieces for cheap. I have the blower, brackets, intake, BBV and fueling all set. I bought an overdrive crank pulley too.
The only part left that I need to find is the flex tube.

I'm still leaning towards a CAI from a different car modified to work with my hand made air box since I'm not running a stock MAF

Thanks,
Dan-O
