buying used jrsc can i use the black box?

I think my title basically says it all I'm purchasing a used jrsc with bbk and its coming with the black box is it possible to send my ecu in to get it reprogrammed even though this kit is use? I know somebody is probably going to say get it tuned by a tuner and i will but for now i'm out of money and just want to use the black box tuning for a few months.
Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure that the BBK would work with the black box... I think you'd have to have the ford racing tune for it to work with the smaller pulley and bigger enjectors. My guess the black box wouldn't be able to keep up with the fuel demands your engine would need with the extra boost.

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong!

i remember someone on here trying do do something like this before with a JRSC and theres a thread about him having lots of problems with codes and power loss. if i were you id just set the blower to the side and wait till you got the cash to do it rite. tuning is cheaper then a new motor.

thats just my opinion

DO NOT USE THE BLACK BOX WITH THE BBK.... it NEEDS to be tuned.

The black box is almost identical to the Black Plague- it'll be your death. Try to have F.R. retune your ECU.

I would go with a custom tune, its ALWAYS the BEST way to go.

Black box works ok with the base kit. Meaning it works, but isn't the best idea. It won't work with the BBK, the larger injectors and MAF require proper tuning.
