Question Guys i have a idea (need some input) plz

I was thinking about co2 but i would like to put it in the port in the back of my jackson racing intake man just the bulb. It would be great cooling for the set up. What i would do is place the bulb in the back of the intake man lock nut it in place with a plug on the other end, and when it kicked in it would cool the charge of the commpresed air witch would cool the charge just was wondering what you guy/gals thought about it!

i dont think you can inject co2 into an engine. it is used to cool an intercooler. you can inject water or water/methonal into an engine to do what you are wanting... you should check out the sticky for water/methonal at the top of this section

not in to the motor just in to the bulb if you put it in to the motor it will kill the oxy in the air just the bulb as it is used in the intake

it is not only for the intercooler
it is also used for colling the fuel and the intake charge among other things

Cryo is a waste of time.... just how much cooling do you think the charge air will get as is passes the bulb (which is a flow restriction) at extremely high speeds....

Why not do something that you KNOW works like Nitrous or Methanol Injection.

it can't be a restricion becaus it is in the intake man and it is for cooling not for speed or even like no2 come on guys don't knock some thing till you think about it for a min

Meth injection isnt for speed either its for cooling your boost.

So explain to me how is it NOT a restriction to the flow if you place the bulb in the manifold.

Also go ahead and tell us how it'll do anything given the small surface area of the bulb and the velocity of the air going past it.
