Fuel Questions

Ok so im going to be boosting soon. I have the turbo and starting to buy the rest now. Just bought a tb and going to be getting a 2k intake manifold. I figure while i have the manifold off of the car i could get the injectors that i need and put them on. Wondering what size injectors that I should be getting. Im going to be pushing 8 psi. Also wondering if I need to get a different fuel pump. I have an 01 and i know that later models had better pumps or something. Also any other things that you guys can think of while i have the intake off the car.

Thanks!

have you gotten the TSB done on the fuel pump yet? with 8psi, you will be fine with the stock pump. im not sure... i'd say 32lb injectors maybe? more people will chime in with better answers. well you are going to need all of the tubing custom fabed... and a manifold

42lb minimum and 60lb maximum. The 42lbers will do it for now to about 220whp (@ 80% duty cycle). If you plan on pushing it, ie:230whp or more, then get the 60lbers. That is of course with a good fuel pump and the numbers are estimations. The pump off the 03 focus/SVT's is the pump of choice. Change the fuel filter while your at it.

Shoot a PM to Tom or Karl at Massive, really any focus tuning shop, and see what they recommend. Most of them have seen MANY turbo Foci and know what injectors support what power levels.
