Any Experience With JRSC+BBK & Tom's Tune?

I have an SVTF with the JRSC+BBK, and the Ford Racing tune. I have talked to Tom re: a better tune, and he claims (if I remember correctly) that he can tweak another 30HP from this beast, plus make it more responsive. The down side is that Tom does not want to do this without a J&S Safeguard Vampire anti-knock device and an air-fuel monitor. These items + a Predator + the tune will set me back $1000 - not exactly chump change!
Tom's reasoning seems sound. The J&S unit is essential because the Ford Racing tune turns off the stock anti-knock device (apparently it isn't up to the task).
Anyway:

1) Who has experience with an SVTF with JRSC+BBK and Tom's tune?
2) What kind of performance gain did you see?
3) How did this affect the mileage?
4) Did it cure the "2,500 RPM stumble"?

Thanks much!

Check the BST forum for a used J&S or fleaBay. Tom would be the guy to go to for the tune, esp. if he was near you.

However, you could go to a reputable tuner in your area and get it dyno tuned w/o the J&S.

I'm no expert on this subject, but Tom's advice makes sense. Without the J&S to control knock (or something similar), aren't you running a big risk?
Besides, I don't know of anyone in Minneapolis/St Paul (the nearest big cities) that is trustworthy to tune my car.
