What is your sensitivity setting for J&S ? Above 1/2 or below ?

i have mine right at halfway

that's what the directions said to put it at if i'm not mistaken. you put it at full sensitivity for testing though

and do you ever see any blink with that sensitivity at 1/2 ? I see sometimes right when my DIM is switching from long to short..@ 5200 so I was thinking to lower it a bit....therefore my question if someone is running it with higher or lower sensitivity. Instruction are telling you to set it up on half, go on HWY speed without boost and adjusting it until you will see blinking from engine noise then lower a little....

The J&S is there to pull timing when it hears knock the light is just letting you know it is doing its job , let it do its job and safeguard your engine

To tell if its knock or engine noise put about 4 Gal of high octane fuel 100+ in to about a half a tank of fuel and see if the J&S stops flickering

Ok tom I went for a track day and I think I know when J&S is working....I think you setup timing based on rpm and load.....when I'm at WOT and load is 80,90,100% no J&S ligt...only when I'm let's say going from cruising through 50 to 70% mostly in that 50-60% load range it's pulling timing....I was hard on my car whole saturday chasing WRX, Golf VR6, Mustangs, S2000.... feeling really good... so it is something I should address to you that lover WOT load timing ?
