I need suggestions....

Well I got my motor back together and I have a little problem... it wont start.

I have fuel, spark, and air BUT it wont hit.... at all.

I also cant get my compression up, my best was 93psi.. which is WAY low.. and is most likely the root of the problem.

No matter where I set my cam gears I cant get past 93... heres a kicker when I'm at "0" on both I only have 30psi. We thought about maybe a bad valve.. but this occures on more than 1 cylinder.

So.. any Idea's??

EDIT: Also when I did the cam alignment #1 piston was at TDC.

Do a leakdown test? bad comp in all cylinders is usually a cracked block/head or something amiss with the head gasket.

Before I put the motor together I gave everything a very close inspection, I ensured that I installed the head gasket correctly and I did it exactly as Ford reccomends in their shop manuel.

I'm think it may be oil pressure related, the stock gauge is showing pressure (about 25% of the gauges range) but my aftermarket gauge isnt showing any oil pressure.

What is your compression ratio again? How many pounds of compression were you expecting?

Is it possible to have the cams 180* out??? I thought about that earlier, I also thought about the oil as well... I was going to do it but I dont have anything to get it into the cylinders.... I'll pick up something tommorrow.

When I adjusted my cam gears I noticed when on "0" I only had 20psi on the compression tester. After adjusting them I could only get 93psi.... whats really weird was when I got the 93psi I was at 2 degrees advance.... if I went 1 degree either way the pressure would fall off to 30psi.
