JRSC - Different kinda help needed

I just picked up a brand new JRSC this weekend for 1800 bucks. The original owner never got to install it due to a death...namely his own. He was an engineer & a mechanic so I was pretty confident that even though the packages had been opened, all the parts would be there. When I went to pick it up, his daughter had everything ready to go as she had found it...in bags, taped up...warranty card, documentation, parts, etc.

Now I have it @ home and I was planning on going through the manifest and checking all the parts to make sure I wasnt missing anything before carting it off to get installed, but its a bit overwhelming when you are looking at some of the part names and having a huge pile of parts in front of you, not to mention that the instructions dont have many pics at all. Would have been great if they actually included a DIAGRAM of the parts listed and quite a few more pics. I knew this was going to be a lil bit of a project - willing to accept that for the savings I got.

My questions to you:
  • Does anyone have any ideas of an easier way to check all the parts? I looked on line, but I have all the documentation available.
  • Is anyone out there ordering one soon? Perhaps I may get pics of the seperate bag contents to compare against?

Thanks

thanks tls ! I appreciate the help.

I was told that there were probably extra parts in there cause they cleared off his work bench where he was kinda staging out all the stuff. The manifest has a ton of parts listed and its a bit overwhelming.

ie: 051-259 Hose, Vacuum, 5/32, bulk 56 - am I too assume there are supposed to be 56 pieces of this hose?

or

AHCS, M8 x 1.25 x 55 - oh yeah...I know what that looks like

I just dont want to have my daily driver torn apart and realize that I am missing a part and wont be getting to work for a few days. Reality sucks like that.

this would be a bolt with a metric 8 pattern. I believe the first number is the length per turn and the second is the overall length (both in cm)

yeah most of the parts on that list are bolts and vacuum lines that tell the exact length of each peace, lol. they also have stuff labeled more than once. once in an assembly and the again with each part of it individually so it can be overwhelming. but there arent really that many parts. and any bolts that you might be missing can be gotten from a part store.

Thanks a ton. I actually hooked up with a local in Denver who installed his own and then uninstalled it and sold it...he took pics of all the parts and I am going to compare against those pics. He even offered to head down and help out with the install, since he already has an idea of whats gonna happen.

On top of all this, I am placing a call to Jackson to see what they might recommend as well...I am certainly not the only one to buy one of these used and have this issue of whats what. That parts list is a lil ridiculous...just a little.

ok, I got an email from SVTBoy21 - he sent me a pic of his JRSC BBK set up after he pulled it and had it up for sale. Along with this and tls_bmx's imgs I figured out that there are just a few parts missing.

For the sake of the next person who might encounter this, here is a pic of all the parts that SVTboy21 sent me:

After comparing all them - I circled all the parts that I am missing. One of which (bottom right corner) I know is for the IMRC. Not sure what that mount is above the manifold or the other part to the upper left...

Here are some extras that I got with it...they are in similar plastic bags so I am assuming they might also be part of the kit:

and all the hardware that I picked out...I am sure if something is missing I can get them at the ol' depot...all the more special type items appear to be present though:

Thanks for all the help that I have gotten so far. I am hoping all this can get sorted out and serve as a good reference for those who buy used kits and want to visually double check that all the parts are present.
