PWSC Intercooler Upgrade?

Does one of these exist? Or where can I find a better intercooler than the one that came with the kit? Everything I'm seeing is air-to-air instead of water-to-air.

It actually does a pretty good job. There are both types out there. The water to air works just fine , too. If you look at the difference in power numbers between the jackson SVT kit ( using an M62), and the PW SVT kit ( using an M62 w/ cooler).

you might consider an N2O or CO2 intercooler sprayer instead of a new intercooler, you should see some gains from that, or at least not lose power after idling for a while

Increasing Low Temp Radiator (LTR - the part you want to replace) isn't going to do much. Goat Ropers double-stacked setup is interesting and I wonder how effective it is.

A sprayer, ducting, or water coolant additives should add some nice benefits.

The Charge Air Cooler (CAC) in the manifold is the 'intercooler' (technically aftercooler). Not much can be done to increase it's size or efficiency. A Laminova cylindrical style setup might work, but a special carrier would need to be machined to simulate the original cooler - TBD on if that would improve temps or lower pressure drop.

Yes, everyone I know with a PW is running "water wetter" in the cooler. We figure it helps a little. It works in engine use a bit, so it should help a little in the PW cooler.

there are some upgrades floating around, but they are made for cobras and lightnings. I have been looking at a few setups.

But...for now..the easiest upgrade, is to move the battery to the hatch, and replace the resiviour with a bigger one, the ones that have the tops big enought to stuff it with ice fairly easily at the track. It almost triples the water capacity, which supposdadly cools the water better.

and if that dont work.....just spray a 50 shot in the manifold, lol.
