Fuel Fix

I hear and see alot about fuel problems. Could/has anyone replaced the whole stock fuel system with a fuel cell, 1/2 line, pump, press reg, return line, fuel rail, etc...
Would this be a good investment for a no problem solution?

Most people just have a problem with the fuel filter if anything. It should be changed around every 15 K or so

How do I move it over the FI chat?

Im sure its been though of...but expensive to get a fuel cell to fin where the stock tank is would cost an arm and leg and to just get one that would fit in the trunk would be every uneconomical. This is what i came up with after having the same idea.

You can always get a kenne bell "boost a pump"

With the BAP and the right tuning you can hold 62psi of fuel pressure at 7k and 19psi.... How do I know... I helped figure it out.

Moving to FI......

yeah the svt doesnt seem to have as big of a problem as a zetec. there are adjustments for it in the tuning that there arent for the zetec. tom and john have made plenty of power on the svt w/o going return. the zetec is the one that has the problems.

the reason i am not replacing every thing is money. i would if i could but it is just to expensive.

Well I'm going Turbo on the SVT and have a 20gal fuel cell I'm not using. Would it be worth switching or just a waist unless your running 9sec 1/4
Could I just switch the fuel filter out to a high flow universal one? Would that be worth doing?
I just want to do it all right the first time. Upgrade everything, then put the Turbo on.

It would depend on what HP your wanting to make , with a BAP on the SVT you can safely go to 330 to 350HP at the wheels then you need a built engine and a full return fuel system
