buying a xios turbocharger, normal paranoia question...

so yeah i am gonna buy one in approx one week(when my next paycheck goes into my account) and i am just wondering if it is a good and safe kit for an olderish car? 78k... cuz i really dont wanna blow it up or anything. i plan on taking it down to tom to install and tune, along with injectors and everything else i need, just want some reassurance that it is a safe kit for my fofo.

It's as safe as boosting an N/A engine can be. Just get some proper tuning and don't up the boost to much and you should be fine.

Smile

My 2000 ZX3 had 85,000 on it when booster. Been at 10# for the last 14,000 miles with no issues. Keep in mind this is my daily driver so it's not like I have my right foot on the mat all the time, but I usually see 6-7# on normal take-offs. Was tuned by Tom with him knowing what I was going to do with the car.
