Powerworks ?'s

Alright so i was going to make my own turbo kit but I just dont have the time to deal with fab and buying all the components. I wanted to be sitting around 200whp. Now im looking at the powerworks supercharger for my car (zx3 mtx) and the numbers, price, and kit seems great.. I was just wondering what peoples view of the kit is, how easy/difficult the install was, any dyno sheets, any concerns about the kit.

I just want to be sure b4 i drop 3000+ on a supercharger to find out its more headaches then smiles.

Thanks for any info!

DO IT!!

best purchase i made for my Focus.

I do however recommend that you buy it from Karl at Massive speed system, because you get a free boost guage with it, and he can also modify the snout that comes with it to accept the 2.6 and 2.4 pulley's for his big boost kit. That way you wont have to take the snout off when you want to change pulley's...and you WILL want more boost..it is addictive.

Get his full 3 in intake for it while your at it...it will require a new tune..but its worth it.

yeah, you really can't go wrong with the PW kit for the price. with obx long tubes, cfm flex, and borla cat back i'm making 231/199. as for the install, i'm lucky enough to be friends with a master mechanic of ford. it took him about 12 hours, he is very slow and anal though. one pita about the installation i remember though was the oil relocation part. should have braided steel lines, and that part of the instructions were confusing as all hell. other than that it was pretty smooth. i couldn't stress more that this kit is amazingly well worth the price.

Lol ^^.

What kind of work have u had to do after install. I assume clutch rather soon, but ive heard ppl had to replace their motor mounts as well. Anything besides these? Is there a lot of maintenance that i should be aware of with the supercharger? I just wanna know what id run into b4 i buy this. Ive bought a few other things and ended up spending more money to make it work. Thanks for the responses thus far!
