1. Procharger puts the supercharger right in front of the front passenger tire. Can be a problem if high curbs and potholes are in your area. But this is a nice supercharger if you want results like a turbo.
2. JR is non-intercooled, aka. less power
3. Powerworks limited by the effienency of the M62 after about 17 or 18 PSI. Good power, but wont get nearly as high in the levels of the Procharger.

Jackson Racing doesn't hold a candle to Powerworks or Procharger.

I could be mistaken but I think that the Procharger is centrifugal and the kit only includes the parts neccessary to install the supercharger and make it start spinning. To gain maximum power out of the Procharger, you would have to buy and install a larger throttle body and intake manifold with improved flow. Powerworks includes all this.

Powerworks is the best bang for your buck as far as power goes. PW on a regular Zetec makes 220/180 and I think it's closer to 250/200 on an SVT Zetec.

Isn't the powerworks basically just a JRSC with an intercooler?

NO! For a Zetec a PW is a M62 which is larger than a JRSC, the JRSC for SVT is the same unit as the PW, but an intercooler makes all the difference in the world.

Each has its own advantage (Positive displacement supercharging vs centrifical supercharging) over the other. Even though my ProCharger has more power potential than the powerworks, sometimes in the daily grind sitting at a light I wish I had the takeoff from idle that only a PD blower can deliver.
