JRSC dsi code

I'm finally finished with my install of a jrsc on my 03 svt and the car runs great. I bought this kit used and it didn't have the dsi plunger you hook up to the cable to keep the cel from coming on. So my dsi cable isn't hooked up to anything. I've been driving it for a couple days and the cel just came on and it is shooting out code P0303. I've read alot about what this code normally means, but could this code be thrown because of the dsi cable? Thanks

Have you tried possibly contacting Jackson Racing? I know they don't carry the kit anymore but might possibly have an extra one or know where you could find one.

dont know if this will help...

P0301 through P0310 - Misfire Detection Monitor The misfire detection monitor is designed to monitor engine misfire and identify the specific cylinder in which the misfire has occurred. Misfire is defined as lack of combustion in a cylinder due to absence of spark, poor fuel metering, poor compression, or any other cause. Ignition system
Fuel injectors
Running out of fuel
EVAP canister purge valve
Fuel pressure
Evaporative emission system
Base engine
The MIL will blink once per second when a misfire is detected severe enough to cause catalyst damage. If the MIL is on steady state, due to a misfire, this will indicate the threshold for emissions was exceeded and cause the vehicle to fail an inspection and maintenance tailpipe test.

based on ^^^ u should check gaping on your plugs or even change them... Did u ever close gap on them after installing JRSC ? (from stock they are like 0.060 and u should have them around 0.040 or even less if missfire is still there...)
