Nitro

Is it possible to add nitrous oxide to a stock engine? Not very good at this stuff and just wanted to know?

i had a zex kit hooked up to my zx3. I have a few upgrades but nothing major such as internal work. I ran a 25 shot and it was great. A lot of kits are designed for stock engines but be careful on how much you use and how often. Also dont buy a dry kit, but a wet kit.

you can run nitro on a stock engine but that all depends on how much. Its almost always recommended that you upgrade the interals to be able to handle the increase in power though. Its always better to safe then sorry

"Nitro" and "Nitrous" are two different things. The stock engine can safely handle a small shot of nitrous. Nitro will make for a wonderful mess with a stock engine and tune.

^^^ Right on. Nitrous is fine, up to a 50 HP shot on stock internals is good if well installed. 75HP can be done if there is a tune involved. Even more if the motor is built to handle it.
