Can it be Done?

I just purchased an 04 manual Roush Focus two door. It has the 2.3 California near zero emmissions motor rated at 145 HP. Is there a supercharger made for this motor or am I out of luck? I know there are several catalytic convertors on this model because one went and the dealer had to replace which took almost one day because they told me it was actually in the exhaust manifold. If it was not covered on warranty it would have cost me $1300!

he diddnt pay that much thats what the dealer would have charged if not in warrenty. No turbo kits are carb legal and there are not supercharger kits for your car...currently...look into rotex though there is a guy in europe doing a rotex set up on a duratec but its pricey.

I have the focus sport turbo. It is a good setup. It does remove the cat though, so above quote is correct, they are not carb legal.

you'd need different rods for a s/c... go with the turbo kit, just dont' turn up the boost too much..
