Forget smog.. Pure part question

What parts would I need for a turbo, other than just the kit from Tom.. If I were to buy the kit from Tom will there be any other parts that I need to buy to get it to work with out blowing up my engine?

Well if you Plan on getting the 3rd stage with like over 10 psi i think forged rods and pistons would be a good Idea preferably 8.5 compression. I wonder if they make aftermarket forged crankshafts and caps?

I think Tom sells a kit with everything you need except for tuning.

If your not in his area, you will need to find someone who knows how to tune a turbo.

I saw a Focus that had over 300whp and they only replaced the pistons and they are still using all other stock parts. The Compression was 8.0:1
