Alsonso is going to be relgated next season. I have a huge feeling he will push the Merc too hard and have even more problems then they did this season. I think he will then blame the team for not being able to provide him with a car to win the championship. Next year the ice man will be the one to beat.

Alonso will not win. Suzuka will be dry. The Ferrari preforms better in the dry than any other car.

I don't know what your deal is with thinking that the FIA treats Ferrari differently. Look at last weekend Renault was giving team orders which, is completely illegal, and there was no penalty or mention of their wrong doings...

those team order rules are never enforced. it would seem that the FIA has favored ferrari this year due to all of the penalties that have been assessed to alonso and the fact that they just all of a sudden decide to outlaw mass dampers which renault had been using for a long time.

From a business standpoint, I can see why FIA would favor ferrari. Did you guys see all the red in the stands at shanghai?! And besides, if Alonso were way ahead right now, I know I wouldn't be watching Michael's last season with no hope of him winning. Just Monaco (!!Attending next year !!), Suzuka, and Interlagos. Too depressing otherwise. Like watching Agassi lose in the second round of the US open to a startup.

Additionally, isn't it the job of the sanctioning body to keep a level playing field between the teams? Maybe it took FIA a while to realize what an advantage the mass damper gave Renault compared to the other teams that used it. Also, read this:
Clicky
A rule violation seems reason enough for a change to me.

On another note, I continue to be amazed by bmw/sauber's recent kick-up-a-notch and the onset of Kubica. Maybe I'm biased as a polish guy and an M3 freak, but I can finally say I'm a fan of F1 for a reason besides Michael and whoever his competiton for the year is... Too bad Kubica hasn't signed for next year yet. I'm sure he'd have had a points position on sunday if the chief didn't put dry tires on him so soon. And he's only 21!
