Cleaned the carbon out

So at work the other day I was bored so IO was dinking around and decided to clean the carbon depostis out of my car. Man was there alot of build up in my motor. I used this product called SEAFOAM. It works awesome. There was soo much white smoke when I started my car that i had to just let it run for 15min and thenI took it on the freeway. People keep looking at me all crazy thinking my car was blowing up. But man My idle is so much smother and throttle response it a tad bit better I reccomend doing this at least once a year. I also did it to my buddy phatlt23 and his car did alomst the same thing but we didn't use as much as I did in my car, also we didn't let it sit for nearly as long as I did mine and he smoked out my whole neighborhood. Good stuff and it won't hurt your car if you do it right.

^^My son used some in a 1994 Ford Aspire that hadnt been running for months. Poured it into the intake via a vacuum hose. TREMENDOUS amount of smoke but it runs so so so much smoother and quieter now. It was all pretty neat!!

like $7-$8 at the auto parts store. Mine never really had problems but my throttle response was a bit better and mileage went up. It just helps keep the combustion chamber clean

I use water, but then I'm totally institutionalized. I even used a couple of gallons of water in a motor- with oil- running for 5 miles down the road before I took it apart to rebuild it.

Well water is a awesome cleaner the only thing is that people end up using to much and can hydrolock there motor. This way is a bit safer since it'll compress, unlike water

How did you put the seafoam into the car? I saw it once one the auto parts store self and it had so many different ways of putting it in.

Through a vaccum line. Brake booster or the PCV line which I used.

^^^^^

Tell me more......I also own a 95 t-bird and I keep hearing about this stuff.....Which end of the PCV hose did you put it in on the ZX3? I have to go find this stuff now, I have never seen it anywhere before---what color is the bottle? I take it that you do this just before an oil change?
