but will you want a bigger car? if not, the new focus will be an excellent choice - I am out of school, having a great job, and driving a Mazda3 ... if there was a good focus here in US, I am driving that instead.

I assume you plan on living with your patrents and have no college loans ..

let me get you a quick rundown of my budget (15 months out of college) with over $38k income:

monthly net is cca $2k - rent, $725, car payment (Mazda3) $450, insurance $180, college loan $200 - just these 4 things and I have bare $450 that should cover internet/cable, phone.cell, food, gas, clothes, and some insicentals ....

I am not saying you will not be able to do it, wanted to give you a reality check - an Audi A3 .. maybe .. a base 3er? also maybe .. but an M3 .. WHEW ... that is some heft to carry right out of school.

wow dude, you really have no idea what im talkin about. i didnt say m3, i said M COUPE as in 99-01 z3 based coupe. you can get them now in the low $20k range, and in two or three years i would definitely be able to afford that.

Sedans look better. Go Ford, finally waking up. I can't wait to get that 3 bar Fusion grille swapped over.
