the only thing that i have ever had a problem with is my license plate being in my window. i used to have a race header with the svt borla exhaust and that was a little on the loud side and cops never even looked twice at me. it could be cause of your kit and that wing in your gallery. they make think that you are on level with the local civics...(not that you are, but in their minds you may be)

the wing is what kills ya man.

when they hear the exhaust, they think "hot car, maybe he's doing something wrong." When they see the wing they think "he's a street racing wannabe ricer punk, lets arrest him for something while technically illegal, is kinda pointless"

I'd say with the WING+SRI-RESONATOR=LOUD&PIG-MAGNET

Get a proper exhuast maybe the focussport stealth exhaust..... i know my buddy has it and says it's awsome and he's blown with a race header and no cat

Sucks..... laws are laws though..... they can't give you a ticket without reasoning.

But still, that is a bit much, especially for a stock exhaust as those Hondas are a hell of a lot louder then any focus, even without an exhaust system (trust me, I've heard a focus with no catback before and it's not even comparable to a fartcanned Honda.

It sucks, but Sport Compacts are a heat score, just like the TA's and Camaro's were back in the day.....

The more mods, stickers, wings, rims, you got, the more your chance increases to get pulled over or ticketed. Your car stands out against the other Taurus and SUV's, etc out there on the road.

The Focus Sport Stealth exhaust would be your best bet. Although quiet during normal
acceleration step on the gas and it gets loud (under bridges that is)
Hope all works out for you....

What's the political situation there now? Are there any re-elections going on right now for local judges or DA's?

During the Sherrif elections here they were pushing "war on crime", and people were being pulled over for all sorts of excuses. I had a friend who was pulled over because his lowered car bottomed out and threw some sparks on thie highway. He had to have it raised, and present a receipt to the judge because it was deemed to be unfit for highway use.

im gonna go against what the others are saying. DONT get the focussport since you have an svt and it will hurt you in power. id go with the borla as it comes with a second resonator that is huge and it is still 2.5" which is what your car already has.

VA sucks like that.
I remember a State Trooper came to my ship once and did the whole drunk driver and saftey speech, then he told us in the state of Virginia technically aftermarket exhaust and body work are illegal in that great Commonwelth.
