Class Action Suit against Ford

O.K. so I was on the net and found out about a law firm that is trying to get Ford to pay for or at least a larger portion of the cost for the repairs needed to fix the bad ignition switches. I just thought I would pass this along. The firm Emailed me and let me know that there is a reporter near me that wants a story.

Too bad I had this done 4-5 years ago and I doubt I still have a receipt. Not to mention I don't live in california.

No the ignition switch. It could have to do with the model year. Or maybe where the car/part was made. According to what they told me the tumblers wore off so the key didn't match up to turn the ignition anymore.

It looks like they filed in federal court so even though they are initially doing on behalf of california residents it should be expanded nationally. I agree that it is a safety issue. Maybe not technically, but like they said, you could end up stranded somewhere at the wrong place, at the wrong time.
