Decision??

Well im turning 18 soon
And i want to buy a new car
And i want to get a focus.
Ive been looking around.
Is the SVT the best one i can get?
Or which one is the best i can get?
Im tryin to get a car and make it an even faster car
and i love the look of the hatch focus.

so if i could get some advice and help on which is better
and stuff i would really appriciate it
Thanks.

Well, you will get different opinions on this, but, in my opinion, the svt is by far, the best focus ever built. I have owned several and the svt is faster, better handler, worth more than ANY focus out there. Just a matter of finding "that"one. The new ST is a good car, but doesnt hold a candle to the svt in performance or exclusivity. Resale value is higher on the svt than any other focus on the market.

the later the year the better, but svt only made a focus 02-04, try to stay away from the 02s, get a 03 or if you can an 04 b/c most of the kninks will be worked out in those ones, plus in 03-04 better options were avaible like HID's and the famous euro package.

Just a spot of advise, before you get your heart set, run an insurance quote. If I'd known how much it was going to cost in insure it, I might well have gotten something else. Its an AWESOME car, and I dont regret buying it, but for the excessive insurance I'm being run I could afford a project car nearly every year. I'm 21, its down now to a "reasonable" $1500/yr, thats down from ~$2600 before I turned 21. Clean record, mind you.
