pics of stock ZTS hardware....

i just got my 2004 ZTS back from the auto body place. and IT DOES NOT FEEL RIGHT. its bad. for some reason they replaced the whole rear suspension setup. just by looking at it from before it looks like the parts are "weaker". the shock doesnt look as good and the spring looks different as well.

i was wondering if anyone with a similar car, could post pics of the rear suspesion setup, if they have it. because whats on there now does not feel like my car. its like they got some REALLY cheap shocks and springs and threw them on there.

thanks!

oh yea also, can anyone tell me what the "motor cage" or "engine cage" is? they said they had to replace it. now im not sure what it is, but it sounds like something that would have to be under the engine, and if so means they probably took the motor completely out. i thought this before i got the car, and now that i have it, the thing is clicking like crazy near the belt and the motor has ALOT more vibration then before.

QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS......

I'm auto ins. claims guy, so I'll see if I can help you, but I need you to answer some questions first.
.
1. Was body shop attached to a Ford dealer?
2. What kind of body parts were specified on the insurance estimate - factory or aftermarket?
3. Did you make any 'deal' with the body shop to absorb part (or all) of your deductible?
.
If answer to #1 was "No", then ask shop to provide you with copies of all the parts invoices ("for your records") ...so you can see exactly what was put on your car.
.
As to engine 'cage' - not sure what they are referring to. Could be the engine crossmember or support. Did you run over some large object?
