Thumbs up Traded in the Focus

Well, after only owning my Focus for 6 months, I've traded it in. The dealer offered me a great deal on the trade and an even better one on putting me in a 2007 Ford Fusion. Originally, they wanted to put me in the base Fusion I4 S saying "it'd be a great upgrade" but I didn't want any base model. While I enjoyed my Focus, I wanted a car I'd be happy with and enjoy for several years to come.

Anyway, I'm enjoying my Fusion and it's a great car. I have the SE V6; practically loaded. The only things I don't have are a leather wrapped steering wheel, chrome exhaust tips, and a moonroof).

I do miss my Focus, and in a way I miss my MTX. I sort of forgot how sluggish automatics are compared to manuals. Oh well, it sure is a blast to drive!

I just enjoy Fords since I came from a Ford family. People definitely look at me differently now that I don't drive a yellow car. ;)

all the ford dealers in this area like to take the fusion and put custom rims from the local performance shop and up the price $3000 to make up for the rims so i dont see very many fusions around here but the ones i do see are nice!

I'll get some pictures up of my Fusion this weekend. It needs a bath.

I'd probably like the Fusion a lot more if they made a V6 with a 5-speed. The iVCT 2.3 would be nice, but in a car that size you need more power than what the 2.3 Duratec puts out IMO.

BTW, is there any aftermarket support for it?

I'm still getting used to the 6 speed automatic I have. It's been quite a big change moving over to a Fusion from a Focus, but I'm liking it.
