wow!!what a ride!!

went to one of those real richy cookouts this past weekend..didnt really seem to enthuised about going but free food and beer i wasnt going to turn that down..(at my wife's uncles house) get there and what was the first thing to catch my eye, a 1970 porsche,!
i went and found the guy who owns this beautiful car and ask him if i can hear it run? he said yeah sure! fires it up and my tounge hit the ground.he took me for a ride and the car handles perfect the the unthinkable happened,,he asked if i wanted to drive?hell yeah..what a ride!!had a v6 engine(not sure what size)with rims off a 97 porsche,and a upgraded suspension.

it's a 914. my mom had a green one when she was a teenager (yeah, rich girl, lol) the top comes off and stored in the trunk. My mom LOVED that car........

v6? you sure about that? if it had a v6, it certainly wasnt original.

anywho, 914s are cool cars even though most people dont really respect them like other porsches(that whole VW tie-in i guess).

I thought the only v configuration engine in a Porsche was the Carrera GT v10 and Cayenne v8?
I thought all the 6 cylinder porsche motors were horizontally opposed?

But none the less, glad you had a great ride in a vintage Porsche!!!!!!
