Ford is killing me with thier deals

Ford is making it really tough for me NOT to trade in my STi for a Mustang GT. This 0% for 72 months would make my payments go down a shit load. The Mustang would be so unpractical for me right now but god damn it would be fun!! Some of you know I used to have a Mustang and sometimes I really miss it and that was only a V6. I have a 1990 project right now as well. Any one else really tempted by Ford's huge deal right now?

hehe.... As much as I would like a new car I know I probably won't go through with it. The STi does so many things right that it is really hard to give it up, especially so quickly.

STi for a GT...don't do it man! Unless it's a GT500. I don't know about your area but the STi is just so much more unique.

Just my opinion though.

Ford is just doing that as a depserate move to move out all the gas guzzling units that have been clogging the lots, they can't sell them.

Plus do you really want to go from 25+ MPG to maybe 15 MPG highway? And go from independent rear suspension to a live rear axle, etc? Keep the STi.

Believe me I know. The STi is an amazing car and does me well all year round. Stang blood runs through my veins since that is all I ever drove for my first 8 years of driving. Just the prospect of how cheap Ford is giving these away is so damn tempting though. Of course resale is going to suck huge on all Fords because of this sale as well where my STi has held it's value and I could get away with selling it privately for almost the same amount i bought it for since the '05 is the most popular and sought after STi in the 3 years they have been around and mine has very low miles. I highly doubt i would go ahead and do it though. Now my wifes Escape that we bought in March pisses me off because we didn't get nearly as good a deal as they have now obviously.
