Unhappy Venting Focus Frustrations

One week ago today, I purchased a brand new '06 ZX3. I still don't have it!

During the initial test drive and inspection, I found a utility knife slice in the back bench seat. Ok, no big deal. They will fix it, right? I asked the salesman and he said 'Sure! It's under warranty. We'll pull a seat from another on the lot, and in the meantime we'll give you a loaner with free gas. You should be able to pick it up tonight or early tomorrow.'

I'm still waiting. It turns out that they had to order a brand new seat, but nobody seems to be sure when it was ordered (Monday or Tuesday). Either way, I should have the car sometime today, but I can't get a hold of anyone at the dealership to give me an answer!

It's so frustrating! I mean, the Taurus they have loaned me isn't so bad, but it's too big for me. It just feels like after the money goes through, they feel like they're done with the sale. What happened to speedy customer service? ::Sigh::

I just can't wait to start driving my Focus. Not someone else's Taurus!

Keep your fingers crossed for me, people! I need all of the well wishes I can get! hehe..

Dealerships are not supposed to pull parts from other cars on the lot, so idk why the salesman would tell you that.

Yeah, no doubt. If they were going to do that, you would've had your car back that same hour...

I wasn't sure about that. I mean, it sounded logical at the time(we would to do that at the furniture store where I used to work). But I finally got it!!!! I'm pretty excited! I took some pictures, but I'm posting the best one in my own opinion. hehe... You are right - it was worth the wait!!!

Now... to come up with a name...

Oh, and the dealer was Gary Yeoman's Ford in the Daytona Auto Mall. =)
