Buying a focus, which one?

I'm going to be buying a focus in the next month or so. I'm fairly set on a zx3 or wagon (if I can find one in a manual for the price I want to pay).

I found a 2000 zx3 local to me. However, it's been modded. It has a jackson racing supercharger, short throw shifter, exhaust, etc. It has 71,000 miles on it currently.

Which would you go for:

1. stock zx3.

2. stock wagon

3. modded zx3.

i donno...im learly about buying a car someone else modded. But the JRSC is extremely reliable and as long as its installed clean and right should be fine. I have 80K miles on my car with a JRSC and im fine.

That's my thoughts too. I know I'd never be able to buy a car and mod it for the cost of this one. Of course I haven't driven it, or seen it other than pictures. The guy I'd be buying it from, bought it modded.

If you can work out with getting the boosted hatch, you're in for a real treat. I'm still hoping I'll find a turbo kit laying on the side of the road on my way to work one of these mornings.
