New Focus Owner

Greetings all,

I happened across this site while doing some research into purchasing a Focus. I figured once I purchased one I would return and say hello!

I just bought a 2005 SE ZX4 Silver... Pictures below:

I hope to visit this site often :)

Congrats on the purchase. 05 is the best year of the new body style, it came with the most stuff standard for the trim. Lower that beast now and slap on some tint! :)

I sure hope you did not get the shaft from Good Ole Boy Pierre. I work in Lake City and I will not do any buisness with Bill and his crooks.

I got a charcoal interior (black dash, console and door tops) in my '06 ZXW wagon. The brochure says charcoal interior is only avail in the ST....

Thank you all :)

So far I love the handling and the "fun" drive the car is.

Klondike - Yes, I wanted an auto and I love it. All my cars upto this point have been manuals but after spending the last 20 years in Seattle driving up and down the hills and all over Puget Sound... I really love the auto.

Hemphound - I am happy with the deal I got at the dealership... I think in part it was because I knew what I wanted, researched it, had my facts at hand and was not just there browsing cars. But my experience was very pleasent one with that dealership.

This question may sound stupid... But the cup holders are quite large in the Focus... is there a sleeve or something that one can get to hold smaller coffe cups and such? Thanks in advance.

There should've been rubber cup holders inside the big plastic ones. From the picture it looks like they've been taken out. I would call the dealership about that.

The front struts/springs are different on the 06+ and most 06's have the PS pump located further forward which can cause a problem with the Cosworth Intake Manifold.
