Lots, lol. Not to mention the RS is about $30k USD. You'd have to pay to get it shipped here and then converted to USDOT specs as well as upgraded to meet EPA standards...exhaust, engine management mods, etc... It would be worth it though to me. Although you could import one as a show car and have restricted insurance and titling on it....but you could only leglally drive it on weekends or to and from car shows or something......there's a big web site somewhere on how to import cars and such, try googling.

you can get one as a track only car kinda easily.

but if you wanna make one street legal you gotta get 3 cars
2 of which will need to be crash tested and inspected by the government to say what needs to be done for the vehicle to conform with the FMVSS etc etc. then you can get the wrecked cars back for parts cars but you can't rebuild them for the street.

also you need to find a RI who wants to take on the task of setting up the testing of the cars as well as figuring out what modifications need to be done to make the cars legal. and a whole bunch of other shit. it's just not worth it.

apparently somebody thorugh importing skylines were worth the cash so it's been done unfortunately it's limited to 96-99 R33's due to the air bag issue with the cars but even after getting the car there still needs to be a RI that has to change 8 or 9 things on the car ot make it conform before it's legalized. once the car is legalized you still need it to be epa certified that it passes emissions.

so lots opf paperwork, time and money to do it legally...

of course you could always import parts of the RS and slowly build your zx3 into a RS

Don't we all... if you're worried about cost you should probably let it pass cuz it'll probably be in the mid to high 40s at least!

motorex.net imports r32's, r33's and r34's regularly. That's who I'll be going through once I win the lottery.

I would question the morality of destroying two perfectly good RSes just so you could drive one here in the US, especially since its a very limited production model and is not being built anymore.

And as stated, importing a car is easy, its the making it road legal part that's hard. You could import one no problem, you'd just have to trailer it everywhere you want it to go.
