SVT EAP VS BMW 325i?

I am kinda pondering a 2004 BMW 325i with sport and premium package with a 5 speed. Only thing that I think Ill miss is that the sterio is better in the focus and the Seats are as well(at least support wise better)

I am not sure If I want to trade my foci in for the 3 or just keep the focus because there isnt anything I dont like about it.

I really love BMW 3 series though and have always wanted a RWD car with some Tq to bring to auto X and drive daily.

Thoughts?

Having worked for BMW and been involved in the royal thrashing of many a 3 series I can wholeheartedly tell you to go with the 3 series. They will not dissappoint you.

um, if you're getting rid of your car, might you consider parting with those wheels, and the Recaros?

If it made economic sense for me I'd do it in a heartbeat. As much as I love the SVTf, zhe fatherland puts together one helluva machine.

I'm surprised about the seats, my grandfather's old 325i had awesome seats, they were part of a sport package tho and (apparently) were unbadged Recaros.

I was giving serious consideration to a 330Ci, but finally went with the ST when I figured out that the BMW would cost me almost $20k more over 5 years than a new ST.

I now plan on getting a Bimmer in about 5 years, as currently I feel that I should be maximising my investing for retirement, as the first few years has a lot of impact on future growth.

It's not like driving an ST is a hardship...

who, FazerD?

I'd assume he has an American ST, considering he lives in Texas.

Do it if you can afford it. Of course the 3er and focus are not in the same league so I wouldn't compare them. The trade in value on your SVT might be crappy though, I know that ST at under 5K miles is already worth nothing. A rwd car will make you happy... I used to have an older 5 series and I miss it so much. I still can't deal with the fwd focus. What's the mileage on the 325i?
