My stock 2005 ZX3 5sp gas mileage has dropped.

My stock 2005 ZX3 5sp gas mileage has dropped. I use to get 28city and 34 hwy now I'm getting 25city. Anyone have any ideas on what to look at that might be the problem. The car has 40,000 miles on it.
Any information helps.

Thanks
Mark

it could be where you get your gas from. there is a website somewhere that shows a list of places with good gas. can someone find it?

Is this your first hot Summer driving in it? Use of the A/C can drop your City MPG that much. Did the mpg decline happen slowly, or all at once?

install a cold air intake recently?

I am guessing it's the gas you are buying

With the 100 + degrees temp lately, I wondered if the AC compressor had been making the engine work harder. But just couldn't see it making a 3mpg drop. I wanted to change the air filter, but couldn't find the air filter, found the plastic housing but couldn't pull it apart, then read the manual and it says unserviceable. I put 35psi in tires on start of last tank so I will see if that made a difference. Keep the ideas coming? Or should I just be satisfied with the 25mpg city.
Thanks
Mark
