You basically use epoxy and a dremel to remove then reshape the oval out of the tb.

A ported throttle body takes the throttle body and widens it out to a larger diamiter(SP) It helps for intakeing more air, throttle responce, and an overall better feeling of throttle tip in/ out. It is an exellent mod. Most people do this as an alternative to buying a larger TB (usually 65MM) to get a better driving feel. I belive that SVTSalvage or one of those companys was porting Tb's but It depends on model and year.

The original poster didnt post year but I belive SVT salvage and a few people are capable of porting it or you can just buy a diff one. CFM and several others offer them.
