Project GOODBYE YELLOW.....

this stuff was driving me crazy........yellow ANYTHING plus my car = McDonalds........

PAINTED: (with 500Deg. test engine block paint)
hood holder strut
oild dipstick
windshield washer cap (we'll see if this sticks....)

I am just gonna leave them alone for awhile and see if the paint sticks better....I just had to get rid of that yellow......

I just bought some high-temp paint and sprayed it on...we'll see if it holds...doing OK so far.....

observe:

BEFORE

AFTER

AHHHH, MUCH BETTER

I WAS gonna do this (paint 'em red), but I:

1: didn't want the paint to be slightly off color from the Infra-Red paint
2: thought about it and black looks more proffessional to me

so I went with black

yeah, looks a lot better. I laughed about the McDonalds thing. Couldnt go wrong with black because theres already so much of it in the engine bay.

That looks good. Did you sand everything a bit to make the paint stick. Whenever I see engine shots, for some reason the first thing I see is the bright ass yellow hood holder.
