Anything is possible. With the correct fabrication, you can put almost any engine into any car...

Think about it...we fit V8 cammer engines into our bays...

Like dwdgsi03 said, anything is possible... it just isn't going to be a "bolt-up" direct replacement piece of cake. He's off to a decent start by having a donor car, that way any possible part of the engine/drivetrain/electrical system that's needed is already there to pick off the SVT.

Seems like it would be expensive, but you never know. I just dropped a 350 V8 in a Chevy S10 and the only modificatio needed were "350 swap mounts" that bolted up to a stock location on the motor.

If you're crafty with a welder or know someone who is you can probably mount it right by making your own brackets.

^^^^^ HAYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOO ^^^^^

And yes, like the others said, it would be feasible, but I highly doubt its a simple in and out swap. Is the Probe the same track width or close to a Focus? Might need some custom work on the halfshafts to along with custom mounts, and probably a stand alone style engine management system. I'm not sure how you'd do the electronics.
