Rendering of MkIII Focus (?)

This is not confirmed... and so take it that way.

EUDM version said to be coming 2009.

BTW it is an agreed on rumor that MKIII will finally reunite the Focus family.. however with Fields taking over Ford it is unclear whether the USDm version will get Dave exterior or not.

The coupe actually doesn't look too bad, but I'm not a big fan of the Sedan.

Cheers.

Man, I dig that in a big way. The american market doesnt do hatchbacks like our transatlantic friends do, I'm sure we'll get a hacked up looking sedan version. Which is a damn shame if you ask me.

First thing I'd have to do is black out or body color all the chrome... can't say I'm all that thrilled about the "face" either, but 2-D pictures don't always convey what it will actually look like...

I like both versions, but sadly they will have to butcher the front and rear of the car with the US required 10 or 15 mph bumpers (whichever it is we have).

beyond the fact that US version might be completely separately styled, I think mazda3 can serve and a proof that NA regulations do not require horendous bumpers...Although the rear one is quite huge..

and BTW we can thank our canadian brothers for this US has requirements identical to EU - 2.5mph... canada has 5mph requirement.. and since we are one auto market... well we share the bumpers.

hmm i dont know, it looks good and it doesnt, i like the lights and how they are making it like the ford Iosis, but i dont rally like the face. Is there any chance well be getting that hot new mondeo, b/c that thing looks freaken sick, id totaly buy it. On the focus they should make the rear fenders as pronounced or more then the fronts to give it that sexy sporty look, like on porsches and aston martins. Also, um, it looks kinda heavy 3k+ heavy, is the MkIII going to lose its nimbleness.
