Talking Time for me to move along.....

Yep, I am selling my focus...

and getting back into a nissan, I owned 2 nissans before I purchased my focus, and while I love my focus... it seems that the quality is not there.

I will miss my focus...

and miss reading the forums...

I know I havent posted much lately...

but you dont need my negitivity when it comes to how I feel about the build quality of my focus, partialy why I am nothing more than a lurker any more...

please know that this isn't intended to be any form of trolling.

I have thought long and hard about this dicision, and the most recent breakage sealed it.

That's an odd statement?

I bought my ST BECAUSE of the Quality!

This has got to be one of the most solid "feeling" vehicles that I have ever owned - bar none. Much better than my SRT-4.

Oh well, good luck to 'ya anyway bro!

350z? Whatever you get make sure you come back here and post picks of the new ride. About the quality, you have to remeber what it is, a cheap compact. Its quality is one of the best out there imo in its class and thats what matters, but im guessing its not that you dont like the quality of the focus, but you dont want the quality of sport compacts anymore. Good luck with your next ride, and i hope that who ever owns your focus after you knows what theyve got, being its a 2.3l 5spd.

I am planning on getting a nissan Fronteer...

as for quality issues:
20k, 40k, 60k front brakes (no warning, until you hear metal to metal)
42k engine replaced
42k engine mount broken
54k engine mount (left side this time) broken.
various knocks and clunks from the suspension.
61k clutch

it just wore out quickly, I drive it like I do all my other cars/trucks that I have owned....
first truck had 300K on it, I owned it from 80k and all I replaced were the front pads twice, timing chain twice, and the clutch once. second nissan pickup: purchased with 32k on it, owned it until it had 160k, one clutch, one timing chain, one set of front pads.

that's the reason that I am going back to a nissan pickup, cause all I ever did was change the oil, which I am religious about... every 3k. nothing but mobil one 20/50.

that's that...

I'll post some pix of my new vehicle when I get it.

and above all else, I will never be a ricer.
